Leading Edge HiFi Albany surprised the Hospice team this week, donating a new amplifier to replace the broken one in the Kwop Wirrin (Good Spirit) Room.
The old sound system had been experiencing technical difficulties causing an unpleasant buzz through the speakers. The buzz had been present for some time before Leading Edge offered to replaced the broken components at no charge.
“The Hospice hold’s a special place in the Boss’s heart,” said Lionel Horton, who installed the new amplifier, “He is happy to provide the amplifier to you for free”.
Leading Edge is just one of a number of local businesses that continue to support the hospice through donation of funds, goods and services or fundraising assistance.
