Casual PCAs Wanted

We are seeking casual Patient Care Assistants to join our team at Albany Community Hospice. 


Albany Community Hospice provides palliative care for people who have an illness or disease that is no longer able to be cured.  Our focus is on the patient and their family or support persons, aiming to improve their quality of life by helping them to live with comfort and dignity in the time they have left to live. This includes their physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual wellbeing as well as supporting their family or significant others. 


Patient Care Assistant

We are seeking Patient Care Assistants to provide high quality patient personal care services under the guidance and direction of the on duty clinical team member, and in accordance with the applicable national standards and the Hospice’s policies, procedures and codes.


To be eligible for the role, you must hold, as a minimum, a Certificate III in Individual Support. 

In accordance with the Health Worker (Restriction on Access) Directions you must be vaccinated against COVID-19.
